More Catholic questions
Okay, so apparently there was a special position in the Italian Catholic Church for the prostitute assigned to the local priest; he was her only client and she was paid by the Church.
Anyone know about this?
FYI--Some day, I'm going to name a story "The Church's Whore."

I suppose there would be a monopoly but it would keep them away from young boys and married women...God forbid they just dump the celibacy rule...
